The core of Rose Hill’s programming is Residential Rehabilitation, a comprehensive program addressing four major aspects of rehabilitation: Clinical Stability; Work Skills; Social/Leisure/Recreation Skills; and Independent Living Skills. Psychoeducational training in social and independent living skills, illness management, and substance abuse prevention are key components.

Based on the belief that challenging and supportive work opportunities can help re-establish self-esteem and assist with recovery and reintegration, residents participate in one of four daily work programs: farming, housekeeping, kitchen, or horticulture & grounds.

Residents may also participate in the school program, including GED classes and individualized instruction. Some may be eligible to become involved in our Job Acquisition & Retention Program that guides residents in resume writing, job applications, and interviewing skills. Computer instruction, music, and art are also offered to the residents.

After successfully completing Residential Rehabilitation, residents may move back to the community or participate in the Transitional Living Program. Living temporarily in on-campus townhouses, clients experience independence in a secure, supportive environment while working, volunteering, or attending school 20+ hours weekly. For those who want to continue their education, five colleges or universities are within a 30-minute drive.

The Community Support Program provides a broad spectrum of services to those residing in communities near Rose Hill to help them maintain their independence.

For those needing on-going care, the Extended Residential Program provides round-the-clock supervision and medication monitoring in a group home setting.

Rose Hill provides financial assistance to individuals/families who cannot fund the entire cost of treatment. The amount of the assistance varies and is determined by an independent evaluation firm.

Since 1992, Rose Hill has provided hope and healing to hundreds of individuals. We stand ready to assist you or someone you know.
