Spring Lake Ranch Therapeutic Community
Spring Lake Ranch offers residential mental health treatment on a 700-acre working farm, as well as transitional and extended treatment programs in a nearby small city. Each resident of the farm campus works 5 hours per day, supported by staff, and participates in a variety of mental health services and recreational activities on evenings and weekends.
CooperRiis Healing Community
CooperRiis Healing Community offers residential treatment on a 94-acre farm and a 4-acre campus in Asheville. At CooperRiis adults with mental illness ages 18 and over participate in a comprehensive, holistic program of treatment that includes individual psychotherapy, group therapy, nutrition and wellness support, and a community work and service program.
Newman Community Residence
Newman Community Residence provides affordable, supportive residential mental health treatment for adults with serious psychiatric issues. Newman's staff and community service providers help residents focus on developing the personal management skills they need to transition to community living.
Lifeskills South Florida
Situated in a campus setting near Miami, Lifeskills South Florida provides residential treatment for psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and schizoaffective disorder. Lifeskills also provides treatment for co-occurring substance use disorders.
Gould Farm offers residential treatment for adults 18 and older on a 700-acre working farm in the Berkshires. From gardening and working in the bakery and café, to individual and group therapy, participants gain skills, confidence and hope. Gould Farm offers transition and community based services in both the Berkshires and Boston.
EIKOS Community Services
EIKOS is a private psychiatric community residence in the Chestnut Hill Reservoir area of Boston. We welcome individuals with schizophrenia, schizoaffective or bipolar disorder, and other specialized treatment needs. We are committed to providing each resident with individualized psycho-social care and a unique opportunity to integrate into the greater Boston community with its medical, educational, social, vocational and recreational resources.
Parents’ Foundation for Transitional Living
Located in the vibrant city of New Haven, CT, Parents’ Foundation provides levels of residential living for adults who have a mental illness, such as, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, severe anxiety and depression. Residents start at the Foundation’s Residential Living Center, then move on to supervised apartments and community apartments. All residents receive their psychiatric care from providers in the community.
New Vitae Wellness and Recovery
New Vitae Wellness and Recovery provides integrated, trauma-informed, and individualized residential and mental health supports for adults, including comprehensive residential treatment, co-occurring addiction services, and brain injury supports. We are proud to offer specialized services for Veterans, young adults age 18 to 25, and those seeking long-term care.
Skyland Trail offers evidence-based residential treatment for adults in need of psychiatric help for conditions including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, and co-occurring substance use disorder. Services include residential care, day treatment, intensive outpatient psychiatric care, independence coaching, and transitional housing.
Located on the campus of McClean Hospital near Boston, MA, Appleton offers private and semi-private rooms in a renovated historic mansion for adults with persistent mental health issue. Services include case management, individual psychotherapy, symptom management, addiction recovery groups, and a broad range of group and individual outings and activities.
FortySeven Main Street
FortySeven Main Street offers work-based treatment for adult men with mental illness at a residential home in Castleton and on a 64-acre working farm in nearby West Haven. Residents learn vocational skills and improve their mental health as they grow food, raise animals, cook, do construction, and explore educational options at nearby colleges.
Valeo Community Residence Program
A private, non-profit corporation established in 1987, Valeo provides residential treatment programs for adults with mental illness. The Valeo Community Residence Program offers homelike care in Sharp House and Frazier House, two upscale homes in Topeka’s residential neighborhoods.
Angelus House at Wellspring
Angelus House at Wellspring offers young women with mental illness individualized treatment planning and a variety of therapies and psychiatric services, ranging from group and individual therapy to 12-step programs, culinary and animal care programs, a fully accredited private high school, and a college transition program.
Hundred Acre Homestead
Hundred Acre Homestead offers individualized residential treatment and care in a spectacular rural setting overlooking Vermont’s Worcester Mountain Range. At Hundred Acre Homestead, individuals gain insight and develop powerful tools as they work to restore mental and emotional balance through participation in a small, structured, family environment.
Academy House, located in Poughkeepsie, NY, is an affordable long-term care, group residential treatment facility where adults over the age of 24 can find treatment for persistent mental illness while learning independent life skills. Our therapeutic approach focuses on the arts, such as Dance Movement Therapy, Art Therapy, and Music Therapy.
Austen Riggs Center
The Austen Riggs Center is a therapeutic community, open psychiatric hospital, and center for education and research, promoting resilience and self-direction in adults (18+) with complex psychiatric problems.
Institute of Living
The Institute of Living provides group and individual residential mental health treatment on a 35-acre campus. It provides mental health services, including social and life skills training, counseling, and case management, for a broad range of ages and mental health conditions.
Rose Hill Center
Rose Hill Center is a comprehensive and effective psychiatric rehabilitation program for adults (ages 18+) with serious mental illnesses or co-occurring substance use disorder. Individualized treatment plans, are included throughout a full continuum of care, and have been carefully developed to help adults achieve and maintain psychiatric stability, meaningful daily activity, and, ultimately, independent community living.
Established in 1989 and located on a 15-acre campus near Orlando, the Lakewood Center is a residential treatment community designed for adults in need of long term care for psychiatric disorders including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, spectrum disorder, and major depression.
Located in the heart of rural Ohio’s Amish country, Hopewell provides hope and healing for adults with mental illness. Hopewell's program combines psychiatric services with farm work that teaches vocational skills, builds self-esteem, and creates a sense of community. Working together, Hopewell helps residents restore their mental health.
Merry Meadow Farm
Merry Meadow Farm is a residential treatment community in Bradford, VT offering services ranging from group and individual therapy to metacognitive training and vocational support. Merry Meadow provides integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders.
Spruce Mountain Inn
Spruce Mountain Inn provides comprehensive mental health treatment to young adults with issues impacting mood, relationships, daily affairs and sometimes co-occurring addictive or compulsive behaviors. Spruce Mountain Inn’s interdisciplinary approach supports progress in educational, career, relationship, health and independent living goals.
Pasadena Villa Psychiatric Residential Treatment Centers
Pasadena Villa provides residential psychiatric facilities and treatment for adults with complex psychiatric disorders including schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, psychoses, depression, anxiety disorders, and Autism Spectrum disorders. Pasadena Villa also provides mental health treatment for adults with substance abuse issues co-occurring with psychiatric disorders.
Spirit of Gheel
Inspired by the humanitarian philosophy of Rudolph Steiner, Spirit of Gheel offers residential mental health treatment facilities in two residential homes and an off-campus transitional living program. Spirit of Gheel works from each person’s strengths to design a treatment plan that allows adults with severe mental illness to find individual pathways to wellness and recovery.
Located on the wooded 100-acre grounds of Friends Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia, the Greystone program offers intermediate and long-term residential mental health treatment for adults with serious mental illness, including chronic schizophrenia. Greystone accepts patients 21 and older, and specializes in working with middle-aged and older adults.
Windhorse Integrative Mental Health
Windhorse offers community integrated step-down living, cultivating dignity, clarity, and connection. We believe it is possible to significantly recover from life-disrupting psychiatric distress while living in the surrounding community. We offer the psychotherapy and support in daily living necessary to create authentic relationships, end isolation, and reconnect with what matters.
WestBridge is a residential treatment program in Manchester, NH specifically designed to meet the needs of adult men with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders. Working closely with residents and their families, WestBridge provides integrated treatment for both mental health and substance use issues simultaneously.
Gateway Homes, Inc. offers residential mental health treatment for adults with mental illness ages 18 and over. Its program allows residents to proceed at their own pace through 3 levels of care: an intensive assisted living facility with 24-hour staffing, residential apartments staffed 14 hours per day, and independent community housing with supportive mental health care as needed.
